09:00h-11:00h Un repaso rápido a la técnica, los recursos de composición y las habilidades básicas para sacar el máximo partido del entorno urbano en la escuela Fotogasteiz (Galerías Itaca, calle General Álava 7, Vitoria-gasteiz).

11:00h – 18:00h En seguida saldremos a las calles de Vitoria para explorarlas mientras aplicamos los conceptos vistos durante las dos primeras horas. Pararemos lo justo para comer.
Tendrás absoluta libertad para seguir una ruta propuesta en la que os acompañaré en todo momento o encontrar tu propio ritmo para fotografiar si es lo que prefieres, en cualquier caso contarás con mi supervisión en todo aquel aspecto que necesites, ya sea técnico o creativo.

09:00h-14:00h Seguiremos con el paseo fotográfico por algunos de los rincones más interesantes de Vitoria (siempre en el centro de la ciudad).

16:00h-19:00h Después de comer haremos una sesión de selección y análisis de las fotos que cada uno de vosotros escogerá de entre las realizadas durante el fin de semana, en la escuela Fotogasteiz
No nos limitaremos a un «Me gusta» o «Qué bonita» sino que iremos más allá; siempre en un clima constructivo trataremos de explicarnos por qué y cómo funcionan las imágenes para que todos extraigamos conclusiones que nos permitirán seguir mejorando después del taller. Jota Barros os ayudará en la selección final y hará una crítica constructiva de vuestras fotos.

“Cuando sigues a Jota, no sólo a través de su blog o vídeos, sino en entrevistas, podcasts y otros medios, te queda claro que es una persona con la que es fácil conectar; tanto que, te apetece hacer un taller con él aunque la fotografía de calle no sea la disciplina que practicas habitualmente.
Pero, cuando realmente te das cuenta de lo fácil que es aprender y asimilar conceptos es cuando trabajas con él, en la calle o en el aula. Todo se hace simple y se entiende a la primera, y a la hora de ponerlo en práctica no cuesta nada verte plasmando en fotos todo lo aprendido.
Además, pocas personas más atentas de sus alumnos se pueden encontrar cuando uno hace talleres de fotografía habitualmente.
Si a eso le sumas la convivencia con él y con el resto de alumnos durante todo un fin de semana, la experiencia se hace totalmente inolvidable.

“Me decidí a asistir al taller Fotografía la Ciudad y sin lugar a dudas ha sido todo un acierto.
Ya llevaba tiempo ojeando las publicaciones de Facebook y aprendiendo con Jota con todo lo que nos compartía, pero ir a un taller de él, sin lugar a duda es mucho mejor que quedarse con los vídeos que nos cuelga. La “teoría” impartida durante un par de horas, la explicó a la perfección, tanto la técnica como la composición. El recorrido por la ciudad fue muy ameno y productivo, cualquier duda que surgía Jota nos la resolvía.
Al terminar analizamos todas nuestras fotos y nos aconsejó en aquellas dudas que teníamos en cada una de ellas y en lo que habría funcionado mejor en una foto u otra.
Ha sido un fin de semana para enmarcar. Mucha fotografía, con muy buenos compañeros y un profe de DIEZ.

¿Necesito conocimientos previos para aprovechar el Taller “Ve Más Allá del Modo Auto”? ¿Si ya tengo nociones básicas me resultará útil?
El Taller “Ve Más Allá del Modo Auto” empieza desde cero, así que no necesitas ningún conocimiento previo, sólo curiosidad y ganas de aprender y divertirte. Los conceptos se explican de tal forma que puedas asimilarlos fácilmente y salgas de allí haciendo fotografías dejando atrás el modo Auto. Además, puede serte muy útil si tienes nociones pero no has conseguido interiorizarlas hasta el punto de no tener que pensar en la técnica cuando estás haciendo fotos.
¿Qué tipo de cámara necesito para hacer y sacar partido al Taller “Ve Más Allá del Modo Auto”? ¿Aprenderé si sólo tengo una compacta?
El Taller “Ve Más Allá del Modo Auto” está pensado para ayudarte a aprovechar los modos no manuales de la cámara, que son los que al fin y al cabo te permiten dar un toque personal a tus imágenes. Aunque sólo tengas una compacta aprenderás y entenderás todo lo necesario para mejorar tus fotos, si bien a la hora de aplicar los conocimientos que vas a adquirir te verás un poco limitado; para ponerlos en práctica al 100% lo ideal es una cámara con ajustes manuales (compacta avanzada, bridge, réflex, 4/3, sin espejo…).
Si no tienes muy claro qué opciones te ofrece tu máquina no dudes en mandarme un correo.
¿Es necesario alguna preparación para asistir al Taller? ¿Qué llevo ese día?
No necesitas preparar nada con antelación.
Eso sí, recuerda llevar tu cámara con la batería cargada y con espacio para unas cuantas fotos en la tarjeta de memoria.
